The New Zealand Association of Gerontology was established as a not-for-profit organisation twenty-five years ago. Regional branches are now situated in Auckland, Waikato, Wellington and Christchurch, with smaller groupings located in Palmerston North and Dunedin. All these groups organise a programme of local activities during the year. The role of National Executive is currently held by Wellington NZAG.
