NZAG Conference 2012

Planning is well underway for the NZAG Conference 2012. Mark the dates in your diary now – Thursday 13 to Saturday 15 September 2012.

The conference is being held at Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre, Auckland.

A great line-up of speakers have been secured to fit with speciality themes of the conference:

• Older People and Cognition – Nicola Lautenschlager (Aust)
• Carers, Families, Partners – Jolanda Jetten (Aust)
• Community Approaches to Ageing – Chris Cunningham (NZ)
• Active Ageing and Participation – Lindy Clemson
• End of Life – Bruce Rumbold
• And special guest speaker, Finbarr Martin talking on the Future of Gerontology and Geriatics

As well as plenary sessions, workshops and symposia; the programme will also include great social and networking opportunities with a welcome function on Thursday and conference dinner on the Friday.

Symposia submission has closed, and abstract submission will be closing on 25 April.  Please check out the conference website for further information.
